Teachers can keep abreast of new ideas in education by reading the vast amount of professional education journals that are available today, most of which can be found online. Journal titles include American Journal of Education, Contemporary Issues in Education Research and International Educational Journal, to name a few. Many of these journals feature interesting articles concerning the use of technology in the classroom, including an article by Les M. Lunce, Ph.D., written while he was a doctorate student, entitled “Simulations: Bringing the Benefits of Situated Learning to the Traditional Classroom” Journal of Applied Educational Technology, 3:1 (2006): 37-45.
